In memoriam Theo Rehak

It is with great sadness I just learned that Theo Rehak, founder of the Dale Guild Type Foundry and Master of Molten Metal passed away this morning on the 11 of January 2024. He was my tutor in all matters relating to matrix engraving in the Benton, type casting on the Barth and the pivotal. The world of typecasting has lost one of his monuments. Here seen when he visited and worked on the equipment formerly owned by ATF and the Dale Guild, now all operational in Antwerp at letter-kunde press and type foundry. (Photo from May 19 2018)
